I have a love/hate relationship with the greatest football game of them all! I love seeing the winner win every game every year, even though I haven’t really followed professional football all year. There’s just something about the top two teams competing for that final crown.
And of course, you can’t ignore the amazing ads! Advertisers pay extra dollars for thirty seconds of advertising during the most-watched game of the season. Some of the most memorable commercials still make you cry or laugh. Who can forget the Bud-Light frogs, or the horses and puppies, and then there’s the “God Made a Farmer” ad for Ram Trucks? So, looking forward to the new crop of ads this year.
What I’m not looking forward to is late evening and early morning Monday! I get up around 4am and my usual bedtime is 8pm. Well, Big Game Sunday certainly puts a crimp in this late night style.
Several years ago, USA Today suggested it was time the BIG Game was moved to Saturday night. I mean, it really makes more sense. Suppose you overindulge in adult drinks and snacks. It’s much easier to sleep in on Sunday and be refreshed and ready to head back to work on Monday.
So, I ask you, if you could decide when to watch Crowning Glory of professional football, would you choose Saturday over Sunday? For my part, I would say yes absolutely. I mean, after all, Sunday is supposed to be the day off, isn’t it?
Ring ! Take this super-quick survey and let us know what you think. Big game on Saturday?
