LAS VEGAS — The PGA’s annual summer gathering, now known as the PGA Show Buying and Education Summit, is a smaller, slower-paced event compared to January’s PGA Merchandise Show.

This creates a more intimate opportunity to meet familiar brands, but also to discover some budding brands. With that in mind, here are some items you can expect to see now and in the not-too-distant future.

DrinksTanks

Want to take your next beverage vessel seriously? Let DrinksTanksHigh-performance Craft Growlers dispense water to wine and everything in between as the perfect way to store and enjoy your beverages on the go. They come in many sizes and colors, but the most important is the double-walled stainless steel vacuum insulation that keeps the temperature cold for 45 hours and cool for 30 days.

Robert Graham

You won’t find striped shirts in the Robert Graham Clubhouse collection. The company sticks to what it knows best: models and designs. For example, the men’s three-button polo shirts with racing cars and high/low glasses look like an abstract pattern from afar, but a closer look reveals the clever repeating patterns. There’s also a knit hoodie on the horizon made of polyester/rayon and spandex that feels like cashmere.

Oars + Alps

To offer no-frills, naturally sourced skin care products free of harmful ingredients and at reasonable prices, Oars + Alps was created by two women with outdoor-loving husbands. Our favorite for golf is Go Stick Clear Sunscreen which hydrates and protects your face and body without any white residue or streaks. Stick application glides on so you never have to get any on your hands.

athleticix fury

Every once in a while a new company catches the eye with something a little new and different. Dallas, TX athleticix fury is a high-quality sports headwear company that specifically focuses on hats for sports activities. Things like making hats water resistant to reduce sweat marks and from materials that keep you cool. But it was the tiny golf ball-shaped perforations on tennis tees and racquets that stole the show – they definitely won our innovation award.

Scheyden precision glasses

Scheyden precision glasses has brought its innovative, high-quality eyewear for airline pilots to golf with the new CIA (Confidence in Action) golf-specific sunglasses. Frames and lenses are made with the best metals, composites and polymers available. The metal frames are made with the highest quality titanium, providing lightweight comfort and strength. The company’s “See Better, Play Better” mantra has been embraced by touring players such as David Duval, Steve Flesch, Tom Pernice, Scott Verplank and Lanto Griffin.

True Linkswear

We love a nice green shoe, especially when it’s made with a comfortable, waterproof knit. True LinkswearThe LUX Sport by has been designed with a rigorously tested breathable Adaptive Sport Knit upper to withstand all environments and a WanderLux super foam midsole for maximum rebound and comfort. The flexible opening of the full sock allows for easy on and off. The shoe is available in five colors, from sizes 7 to 15.
