Special Olympics New York, Long Island came back strong with its Spring Games in Farmingdale last week after a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-10 pandemic. Participants competed in athletics, swimming, powerlifting and tennis.

What is the date of the torchlight passage?
The torch race will take place on Tuesday, May 24.
What time does it start and end?
The torch route takes about 30 minutes. A welcome ceremony will take place at 9:30 a.m., followed by the start of the race at 10 a.m.
Where does the torch race begin?
The race will start at Park Row Plaza in midtown Manhattan between Chambers and Beekman streets.
What are the best places to see the torch during its journey?
The best places to see the band are at the start and finish line at 185 Greenwich St. near the 9/11 Memorial.
